Our Story
HOWDY, Y’ALL!
Welcome to the Freedom Road Warriors! We are the Anastasi’s ~ Cory, Tamera, Bryson (14), Willow (9) & Lola (Rottie Girl) ~ originally from Texas, on an epic journey to live freely and joyfully around the world, experiencing as many adventures as possible. We sold our house 5 years ago and lived full-time in an RV until April of 2023. We are now calling Angola, Africa ‘home’. This is our 3rd overseas move and our favorite thus far! Plain and simple, we love to travel. It’s a bit of a wanderlust problem and fear of missing out on the next adventure.
Since the beginning, we’ve thrived on ‘where are we going next’, moving about every 3 years. Most of our travel experience has been overseas, with 2 previous work posts in Vietnam and Bangladesh. We were fortunate enough to take advantage of this and traveled around Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong. After making our way back to the US and settling into the ‘typical’ life of homeownership (and all the constant work that came with it), we realized that the kids hadn’t seen much of our own country. That’s when we made the decision to move into a 5th wheel toy hauler and be free to travel when we could. After a few years of RV life and traveling around the USA, we had an opportunity to live abroad again, so we jumped on it! Africa has always been a continent that we wanted to explore and we can’t wait to bring you along on our adventures
